How did it go: Our coach Tony made a very succesful return to competitive judo after a 12 year absence. He won a Silver Medal in the Masters Catergory, defeating UCDD's coach in the process. John also had a good day, just missing out on a bronze in the open weight catergory. This was especially impressive considering John only decided to enter on the day. Marc, the only non-black belt in the very tough under 73kg weight division, lost both his matches. Kevin and Conor both lost their first round matches in the under 81kg division. Conor won a match in the repechage before finally being knocked out.
